Hi! Great podcast and surprising conclusions about how profound the use of sauna might be! Can you give some practical recommendations for someone who wants to start using the sauna? How long should each session be? And if you switch between hot and cold, how long in hot and cold? If someone is already exercising hard daily, is sauna still beneficial? And is there an optimal time to use sauna? Does it matter if it’s right after exercise?

Thanks for your time! I love all your podcasts!

Hi, I am wondering if similar results could be achieved through a hot soak? We live in very rural NC, no saunas anywhere near but have a deep bath tub and lots of hot water. Also wonder about adding epsom salt…
Y’all always give good food for thought, thank you!
